When I wrote this blog, I was a dumb white kid who thought I knew about the world, but really I didn't know shit. I disavow my past writing, and have removed all of my previous posts. Maybe one day I will put them online again somewhere and respond to my own idiotic self, but that will be something for another day.
Until then, know that today I stand for:
- Black Lives Matter
- Abolish ICE
- Abolish the Police
- Divest from fossil fuels
- Fuck fossil fuel executives
- We need a big wealth tax ASAP
- Fuck White Supremacy
- Fuck every politician that puts an R next to their name in 2020
- My white ancestors were oppressors
- I want to be an anti-racist
- Fuck extractive capitalism
- I want to check my privilege every day. Multiple times per day.
- I want to be told when I have said or done something racist or sexist or ableist or anything that causes harm to other people
- I live on indigenous land that was invaded by violent, hateful white occupiers and I condemn the occupiers and want to honor and give gratitude to the indigenous tribe who lived here before me.
- I have compassion and love for people who are against harming other people and want to learn and grow and be better.
That's all for now. A lot more I could and probably should add, but for now mostly I wanted to clean out my toxic article history in case someone ever stumbled on this blog again. Down to connect on stuff with anyone who stumbles on this, let me know.
